3 Trapped in Vehicle Rollover Crash at Freeway Exit

Baldwin Park, Los Angeles County, CA: Three people were trapped when their vehicle crashed and overturned exiting the 10 Freeway early Friday morning, Dec.30, in the city of Baldwin Park.

California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park officers, Baldwin Park Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department all responded to the reported traffic collision just after 2:00 a.m. at the westbound 10 Freeway at the Francisquito Avenue exit.

CHP and LACoFD received additional 911 calls that three people were trapped inside the overturned car.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a Toyota that had crashed into a wall on the Francisquito Avenue exit from the westbound 10 Freeway and overturned, trapping three occupants inside.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to cut the roof off the vehicle to free the patients.

A total of three people were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions.

The cause of the crash in unknown at this time. CHP will be handling the investigation.
