Chatsworth, Los Angeles, CA: Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Chatsworth with a suspect vehicle that was initially pursued by police.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were in pursuit of a dark-colored sedan Tuesday night before 12:42 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 16, when the suspect vehicle struck two other cars at the intersection of Chatsworth Street and De Soto Avenue.

After officers had canceled the pursuit, the suspect vehicle exited the 118 Freeway and crashed into two other vehicles in the intersection. LAPD airship was still overhead at the time, and immediately requested units to respond to the area.
A total of four patients were transported in varying conditions to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department resources at the scene. One of the vehicles traveled through a fence at a church at the corner of Chatsworth and De Soto.
Police were seen taking suspects into custody.
One of the victims describing the collision to Key News Network at the scene said, “I don’t know how I’m alive, quite frankly.”
