La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles County, CA: Four occupants in a Tesla were trapped after driving off a canyon cliff just after 11:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, in the city of La Cañada Flintridge.

Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a vehicle that missed a turn on Angeles Crest Highway at mile marker 27, and went over the side of a cliff about 400 feet down leaving four people trapped.

LACoFD air unit responded with help from search and rescue to free the four trapped patients and airlifted them to a landing zone where Care Ambulances transported the patients to local hospitals.

The conditions of the patients were not immediately known at the time of the incident.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the traffic collision.
