Instagram Influencer Victim of Hollywood Hills Home Invasion Robbery

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (KNN) — Occupants inside a Hollywood Hills AirBnB were victims of a home invasion robbery late Thursday night.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division patrol units responded to a burglary in progress around 10:45 p.m. on the 800 block of Mannix Drive.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with the occupants of the residence which was later discovered to be an Airbnb.

The victim, “Ish”, who goes by @iishtheceo on Instagram, stated two men in hoodies armed with a beige handgun, broke in and took his Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton bag.

At first there was a knock at the door, then the suspects came through the window, according to the victim.

Ish said they knew him on Instagram and “I guess they knew what I was doing.”

“This is the country we’re living in…I’m happy to be alive.”

The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

LAPD Hollywood Division detectives are investigating the incident.
