Pomona Victim Suffers Head Injuries from Assault

Pomona, CA: A victim suffered head injuries during an assault in the city of Pomona Tuesday night.

The victim was located with head injuries on the 1000 block of McKinely Avenue late Tuesday night. *Tony V* / KNN

Around 10:45 p.m., Apr. 5, Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the 1000 block of McKinley Avenue for reports of a person assaulted.

Arriving engines located one male adult with injuries to his head. LACoFD paramedics treated the man at the scene and then transported him to a local area hospital. Pomona Police Department officers responded and quickly and set up a perimeter for the suspect that fled the scene.

It is not known at this time if the suspect was apprehended.
