Motor Scooter Driver Struck and Killed by Vehicle

Chatsworth, Los Angeles, CA: A person was pronounced deceased at the scene of a traffic collision in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.

One victim was struck by a vehicle and was mortally injured on the 10200 block of North Mason Avenue. *Keith Johnson* / KNN

Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a call of a collision involving a vehicle and motor scooter around 8:28 p.m., Apr. 5, on the 10200 block of North Mason Avenue.

When units arrived, they found one victim that had been struck by a vehicle and was mortally injured.

The vehicle that hit the motor scooter stayed at the location and the driver was interviewed by Los Angeles Police Department at the scene.

LAPD Valley Traffic is investigating the collision.
