WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 1 (KNN) — An officer-involved shooting is under investigation after a male was shot in Woodland Hills Wednesday evening.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to a shooting call around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Calabasas Road and El Canon Avenue.
According to initial information gathered at the scene, a Los Angeles Police Department officer was involved in the shooting.
LAFD paramedics transported one male suffering from a gunshot wound. His condition was not immediately known.
The intersection was closed while LAPD investigated the incident.
