Antelope Acres, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was injured and transported to the hospital after a collision involving a box truck and a Chevy Colorado midsize truck on Friday night.

At approximately 10:50 p.m., Apr. 8, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station received a 911 call regarding a traffic collision at the intersection of 90th Street East and Avenue C in Antelope Acres, just northwest of Lancaster.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a box truck had collided with a Chevy Colorado midsize truck that rolled over on its side. Lancaster deputies requested California Highway Patrol officers to respond and take over the investigation.
CHP Officers administered a partial field sobriety test at the scene but it is unknown if the driver of the Chevy Colorado was under the influence.
Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics from station 112 and 130 responded to the scene and treated the patient for a possible ankle injury, and then transported the patient to a local hospital. Tow trucks responded to the location at 11:37 p.m. to remove the wrecked vehicles.
CHP officers remained at the location to process the scene. No further details are available at this time.
