KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 (KNN) — Firefighters doused a fire consuming the second floor of a building in Koreatown early Wednesday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews were dispatched at 4:16 a.m. to the 600 block of South New Hampshire Avenue where fire was present on the second floor of a three-story building which appeared to be one-story residential above two floors of commercial space, according to the LAFD.
Firefighters attacked the flames in offensive mode as smoke billowed from the top of the structure. Flames were within and above the second floor of the building, according to the LAFD.
The LAFD reported 53 firefighters extinguished the flames in just 54 minutes. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
