Key News Network was at the scene of three of the fires overnight in the downtown area of Los Angeles near freeways, all of them a concern due to the recent pallet blaze that damaged the 10 Freeway last Saturday morning shutting down access to the heavily traveled thoroughfare.

A small grass fire at 1:28 a.m. was quickly extinguished at the northbound 110 Freeway on-ramp from LA Live Way. The origin of the fire is currently unknown.

At 1:58 a.m., there was a fire reported on 16th Street under the westbound 10 Freeway. A homeless shack was on fire, ironically made of pallets.

A brush fire was reported at 3:19 a.m. on the embankment adjacent to the 110 Freeway at Adams Boulevard. A witness at the scene stated he saw a homeless individual flee the area.
