A traffic collision involving a pedestrian was reported shortly after 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Arlington Avenue, just north of Venice Boulevard, in the Arlington Heights neighborhood in Central Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported two pedestrians were crossing the street around 10 p.m. eastbound on Arlington Avenue, north of Venice Boulevard, and when they reached the middle of the street they were both struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Arlington. The suspect vehicle continued traveling southbound toward Washington Boulevard without stopping.

“Upon impact, one pedestrian landed near the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Arlington Avenue. At which time, a second vehicle traveling northbound on Arlington Avenue struck the pedestrian.
