LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (KNN) — Multiple fires occurred near the 10 Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles shortly after midnight early Friday morning, with many others before and after that time.

Key News Network video highlight the epidemic of constant fires in Los Angeles, especially at homeless encampments near freeways and junk piles as overnight temperatures drop.
Fires may burn for a long time before they are reported to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
At 12:24 a.m., a fire was reported in the 1000 block of East 16th Street at a homeless encampment with flames consuming apparent belongings at a nearby fence. Then a short time later at 12:35 a.m., a box was on fire at another homeless encampment on the 800 block of East 16th Street against the westbound 10 Freeway.
The final fire in the video was at 12:40 a.m. at West 18th Street and South Olive Street. A junk pile next to a structure was burning.
