LANCASTER, Calif., Nov. 22 (KNN) — A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Lancaster Wednesday afternoon.

Los Angeles County firefighters and Sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of Lancaster Boulevard and 20th Street East for reports of a motorcycle down in the intersection.
Upon arrival, firefighters located the motorcycle down in the roadway fully engulfed in flames and the rider laying unconscious nearby.
Lifesaving techniques were performed by paramedics and sheriff’s deputies, but ultimately, the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Witnesses stated that the person driving the other vehicle involved ran a red light causing the crash.
