SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 900 block of West 73rd Street for reports of a structure fire around 1:53 a.m. Tuesday.

When crews arrived at the reported address in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood within South Los Angeles, they located a well-involved second story apartment unit. Residents of the building were seen outside with some holding onto their pets
The fire was contained and knocked down in just a few minutes.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
