Shooting Victim Found at Gas Station in South Los Angeles

ATHENS, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13 (KNN) — A shooting victim was found at a gas station in the Athens community within South Los Angeles early Wednesday morning.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies along with the Gardena Police Department responded to the G&M gas station in the 12700 block of South Western Avenue for a shooting victim around 3:18 a.m.

A male victim, age unknown, was located and transported to a local hospital by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg deemed to be a non-life-threatening injury, according to the Gardena PD. There is currently no suspect information available and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are not known at this time.
