Firefighters Douse Flames Engulfing Pickup Truck in South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (KNN) — A pickup truck was found engulfed in flames in the Central-Alameda neighborhood within South Los Angeles early Friday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire shortly before 1:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of Tarleton Street.

When crews arrived on scene, they located a Ford pickup truck on fire. The flames had also spread to a nearby tree.

Crews had the fire extinguished in just a few minutes. The cause is unknown at this time.
