SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (KNN) — Constant rain in the Southland resulted in three sets of vehicles involved in collisions and spin-outs due to standing water on the 101 Freeway southbound at Van Nuys Boulevard around midnight.

One black sedan caught on dash cam, can be seen hydroplaning and losing control on the southbound 101 Freeway just before the Van Nuys exit.
At Van Nuys, the California Highway Patrol reported that six vehicles had spun out and were involved in minor collisions. The CHP arrived and was able to clear all vehicles shortly after holding traffic on the 101 Freeway.
No injuries were reported.
