Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A motorcyclist was injured and transported to a local hospital after a collision with a vehicle in the city of Lancaster Wednesday night.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Apr. 20, 2022, Lancaster deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call regarding a traffic collision at the intersection of Ave M and 20th Street West.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered a motorcycle had collided with a Dodge vehicle. The driver of the Dodge appeared to be uninjured and was walking around at the scene. Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters responded to the location to treat the injured rider and transport the patient to a local hospital.

It is not known what caused the collision at this time. No further details are available.
