Watts, Los Angeles, CA: Los Angeles Police Department Southeast Division officers located a deceased person in the roadway who was possibly struck by a vehicle.

The victim, possibly male, was located by officers at approximately 2:37 a.m. Friday, Apr. 22, just north of the intersection of Grandee Avenue and East 103rd Street in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Officers immediately requested Los Angeles Fire Department to the location. Firefighters pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. No suspect information is available at this time.

A walker was seen among the victim’s belongings. Southeast Division officers requested traffic units to the location to investigate the incident.
