Commerce, Los Angeles County, CA: Los Angeles County firefighters and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies received a call of a man that was found near the 5 Freeway at approximately 3:36 a.m. Friday, Apr. 22, in the city of Commerce.

When deputies arrived at the location, they found a male lying on the ground near the freeway with a gunshot wound. Firefighters arrived and started medical treatment immediately, then transported the patient in unknown condition to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

One female was placed in custody for further questioning.
