Pomona, Los Angeles County, CA: An adult male that was reported shot in the city of Pomona Friday night has died at the hospital.

Around 9 p.m. Apr. 29, Pomona Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to Commercial and Thomas Streets for a reported shooting.

Arriving officers located a male adult suffering from a gunshot wound. LACoFD arrived and began treating the victim. CPR was in progress as CARE ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital in grave condition.

According to an update from Pomona PD at around 2:00 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 30, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time, and no suspects have been identified, according to PPD.

The shooting is under investigation.
