Police Pursuit of Armed Robbery Suspects Ends in Los Angeles Crash, 2 in Custody

FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (KNN) – The Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division officers were in pursuit of armed robbery suspects late Friday night.

The suspects led officers on a short chase before crashing at Avalon and 73rd Street in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles. It appeared the suspects hit a parked car.

LAPD officers quickly took two male suspects into custody who were injured in the crash.

Officers located a firearm that the suspects were believed to have thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics evaluated both patients. It was unclear if anyone was transported to a hospital.
