Tree Falls, Strikes Passing Vehicle in Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 4 (KNN) — A large tree fell and struck a passing vehicle near the intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and Kester Avenue in Sherman Oaks Monday evening.

The incident prompted a response from the Los Angeles City Fire Department. Fortunately, the vehicle’s driver was not injured.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department blocked off traffic from the street to manage the incident.

While it is unclear if wind caused the tree’s demise, gusts were present in the area at the time of the incident.
