Pedestrian Struck, Killed on 10 Freeway in Mid City

MID CITY, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 4 (KNN) — California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a pedestrian down in the number 3 lane of westbound Interstate 10 near La Brea Avenue on Monday evening.

Upon arrival, LAFD paramedics pronounced one male deceased at the scene.

CHP blocked the number 3 and 4 lanes as officers conducted their investigation.

An SUV, which appeared to have struck the male pedestrian, was located on the right shoulder facing the wrong way with windshield damage.

No further information has been made available regarding the incident at this time.
