HOLCOMB VILLAGE, SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Apr. 14 (KNN) — A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck near Julian, California, Monday morning around 10:10 a.m. The United States Geological Survey reported that the earthquake had a depth of approximately eight miles. Residents from Tijuana, Mexico, to Los Angeles County felt the tremors.

Julia Davis shared footage from Shadow Mountain Vineyards & Winery in Holcomb Village near Sunshine Summit, which displayed the effects in the interior storage room, tasting room, bonded garage and barrel room.
By 10:30 a.m., USGS noted seven small aftershocks following the initial earthquake. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department stated it had not received any reports of damage at that time. Additionally, the earthquake disrupted transportation services in the area.
