LAPD Investigates Overdose of 3 People in a Home

Pacoima, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the apparent overdose of three people found unconscious Sunday morning at a residence in the Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Around 9:00 a.m. May 8, Los Angeles Fire Department from Pacoima and Los Angeles Police Department from Foothill Division responded to a call from a residential home located on the 12900 block of Sunburst Street regarding three patients that were unconscious due to overdose from an unknown substance(s).

All three patients were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Their gender, age or conditions were unknown at the time of Key News Network video coverage of the incident. A sergeant from LAPD Foothill Division could not confirm with a statement on camera due to the ongoing investigation.

One neighbor off-camera mentioned early in the morning they found a dog laying on the ground that belonged to the same residence where the incident took place.

LAFD was staged on Sunburst Street and Telfair while they and LAPD investigated the incident.
