Officers from the El Monte Police Department along with officers from the Los Angeles area came together to honor the fallen officers.

The U.S. Flag was draped between two fire department ladders high above the road as a police motorcycle unit crossed underneath followed by the coroner’s van and a line of walking officers, community and family members as the van made its way into the driveway of the coroner’s office on the 1100 block of North Mission Road in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.
