1 Trapped in Vehicle After Collision with Semi

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was trapped inside a vehicle after a collision with a semi on Sunday, July 3, around 5:05 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue K and 20th Street, East in the city of Lancaster.

Personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the location for a traffic collision that was reported as a vehicle versus semi truck.

Upon arrival, the fire department found one person trapped inside a sedan. The vehicle was partially trapped under the trailer of the semi. Firefighters were able to free the victim from the vehicle and immediately transport the patient to a local area hospital with significant injuries.

The exact condition of the patient was unknown at the time of report.
