Newhall, Los Angeles County, CA: A vehicle that was reported and described as a gray Toyota Yaris, had collided with the center median and veered off to the right shoulder of the 14 Freeway with major front end damage Sunday night.

The solo-vehicle crash occurred around 11:09 p.m. July 3, on the Southbound 14 Freeway just north of the I-5 Freeway in the Newhall community of the city of Santa Clarita.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics treated both the driver and passenger for their injuries and later transported the patients in unknown conditions by AMR Ambulance to a nearby hospital. The female passenger was seen inside the trunk of the vehicle being treated by paramedics prior to transport.

California Highway Patrol officers were at the location investigating the crash.
