Driver Hospitalized After Crashing into Light Pole

Baldwin Park, Los Angeles County, CA: An injured driver was hospitalized after crashing into a light pole late Monday night in the city of Baldwin Park.

California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call at around 11:25 p.m., July 11, of a solo-vehicle crash into a light pole on North Frazier Street and East Judith. CHP and Baldwin Park PD arrived first on the scene and reported that one vehicle had crashed into a light pole with the driver of the vehicle with major injuries to his face.

Firefighters arrived and started aid to the driver. LACoFD transported the patient to USC Medical Center due to his injuries. The cause of the crash was due to speed.
