Seattle, WA: At approximately 10:55 p.m. Sunday, July 10, a young woman was shot multiple times in front of her house on the 3700 block of South Burns Street in South Seattle. The unknown shooter fired an unknown type firearm, hitting the woman in her leg and chest area.

Seattle Police Department arrived to secure the scene and also provided lifesaving aid to the woman by applying a chest seal and initial care in attempts to stop the victim from bleeding. Shortly after, Seattle Fire Department medical crews arrived at scene and transported the patient to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
SPD is handling the investigation. The shooter is still outstanding at this time.
