Gunfire Erupts at Seattle Rap Concert

Seattle, WA: At approximately 2:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, multiple gunshots were reported fired during a rap concert located at the intersection of East Fir Street and 14th Street in the neighborhood of Yesler Terrace in the city of Seattle.

People who were attending the concert began running to safety and in doing so, some concert goers suffered some unknown injuries. Upon arrival, the Seattle Police Department found that no one attending the concert was found to be shot.

One of the concert performers during an on-camera interview said that “over 50 shots were fired.”

Within minutes after the initial shooting, reports came in of two vehicles down a nearby road shooting at each other.

It is unknown at this time if that is related to this incident.
