Palmdale, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was injured in a traffic collision involving a tractor trailer and SUV late Thursday night in the city of Palmdale.

At approximately 11:46 p.m. on July 14, California Highway Patrol received 911 calls regarding a traffic collision at the intersection of Avenue M and 50th Street East.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a tractor trailer had collided with an SUV. Paramedic/firefighters from Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 135 responded to the scene and transported the driver of the SUV to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the trailer was uninjured and was seen talking to officers regarding the collision. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time or whether speed or alcohol-related impairment was a factor.
