Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Van Nuys

Van Nuys, Los Angeles, CA: A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday night in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles within the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision around 10:43 p.m. July 22, at Van Nuys Boulevard and Valerio where units discovered a person had been struck by a small red truck at the scene.

The victim was beyond medical help when the fire department arrived. LAPD is conducting the investigation.
