Deputies Disperse Large Crowd of Rapper Yeat Fans Outside Roxy Theatre

West Hollywood, Los Angeles County, CA: A large crowd of rapper Yeat fans outside the Roxy Theatre on Sunday night, Feb. 20, prompted a response from Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies dispersed a crowd of around 1,000 fans that gathered outside the Roxy Theatre for a Yeat performance.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies temporarily closed the street in front of the Roxy on the 9000 block of West Sunset Boulevard in the city of West Hollywood and cleared the crowd estimated to be around 1,000 people that gathered in front of the Roxy for a Yeat performance.

The call regarding the large crowd at the venue came in at 7:57 p.m., according to LASD. It appeared to LASD that the venue oversold the event.

No arrests were made, according to LASD. The crowd dispersed and Sunset Boulevard was reopened.

Yeat is a rapper and songwriter originally from Portland, Oregon, who rose to popularity in 2021 after the release of his mixtape 4L, where he garnered attention on TikTok for his popular track “Sorry Bout That”, according to multiple internet sources about the rapper’s life.
