Carnival Shooting Leaves 2 Dead in Lincoln Heights

Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, CA: Two people were found shot to death at a carnival in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles Sunday night.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at a carnival around 9:00 p.m. Sept. 11, at the intersection of Broadway and Workman.

Upon arrival, officers called for the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond for two victims down. Two people were pronounced deceased after evaluation by LAFD paramedics.

One victim was located on a sidewalk at the carnival, the other was located just around the corner on the ground.

It is currently unknown if any suspects are in custody.

There are no further details at this time.
