Industry, Los Angeles County, CA: A fiery single-vehicle collision into a tree on the side of the 605 Freeway left one person dead at the scene Friday night, Sept. 30, in the city of Industry.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department along with California Highway Santa Fe Springs Station responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision with a vehicle on fire into a tree on the northbound 605 Freeway to the interchange to the 60 Freeway eastbound or westbound around 10:25 p.m.
Firefighters located a body inside the burned vehicle and pronounced the person dead on scene.
It is unknown at this time if speed or alcohol is a factor in the fatal crash.
CHP had the northbound 605 Freeway to the 60 Freeway westbound and eastbound closed as they investigated the incident.
