California Highway Patrol and Caltrans were dispatched to a traffic collision involving two big rigs with one jackknifed leaking fuel on the northbound 5 to the 14 Freeway truck lanes.

CHP used dirt and sand to prevent fuel from draining downhill due to heavy rain in the area.

At 12:49 p.m., a hard closure was placed shutting down the freeway from the 210 east to the northbound 5 for an unknown duration of time.

No injuries were reported.
