Traffic Collision Involves Rollover, Totaled RV, Injured Victims

Sylmar, Los Angeles, CA: Three vehicles were involved in a traffic collision that included a totaled RV in the Sylmar neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Los Angeles City Fire Department and police department responded to reports of a vehicle collision in the 16400 block of Foothill Boulevard.

When units arrived at the location, they found one vehicle with major front end damage, one truck on its side and one RV that was sideswiped and totaled with debris in lanes.

Two patients were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions. It appeared they were in the RV.

The street where the traffic collision occurred has a long stretch without traffic lights. Speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The area is also home to many transients who are living in RVs. There are more than 20 RVs lined up on the street.

LAPD is investigating the traffic collision.
