Valley Glen, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department responded to 12:15 a.m. reports of a shooting with two victims down in the 13000 block of Victory Boulevard in the Valley Glen neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

When units arrived, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics where one victim was pronounced deceased and the second victim’s condition is unknown, according to Officer Drake Madison with LAPD Media Relations.

The shooting unfolded when the two male victims were sitting inside the lounge and were approached by the 65-year-old male suspect who had entered the business. The suspect began speaking to one of the victims when he produced a handgun and shot him. The other male victim attempted to intervene and was also shot, according to Madison.

The suspect was last seen running south through the parking lot.

LAPD is investigating the incident.
