Azusa, Los Angeles County, CA: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are currently investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a male juvenile Tuesday afternoon.
Initially, the Azusa Police Department received a call of a gunshot victim at approximately 3:26 p.m., Dec. 6, on the 600 block of Donna Beth Avenue in the unincorporated area of Azusa.
Deputies from the San Dimas Sheriff’s Station responded to the location and were informed by Azusa PD officers that a Hispanic male had been found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the LASD Information Bureau.
The victim was treated by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to the bureau.
“There was an additional victim that sustained a gunshot wound to his upper torso who was also transported to a local hospital and remains in stable condition,” reported the Sheriff’s Department in an updated press release.
