LAPD Pursuit Suspect Arrested After Spotted by CHP Walking Away From Vehicle

Northridge, Los Angeles, CA: A Los Angeles Police Department pursuit ended with the suspect in custody after help from California Highway Patrol who located the suspect late Tuesday night, Dec.6.

LAPD Mission Division officers initiated a pursuit of a pickup truck with a license plate that did not match to the vehicle.

LAPD officers were in the chase for about 30 minutes before canceling the pursuit.

CHP units that were notified about the pursuit, spotted the pickup truck on the wrong side of the road with a possible suspect walking away from the vehicle on Balboa Boulevard and Mayall Street in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Northridge.

LAPD arrived at the location and confirmed to CHP that it was the pursuit suspect, who was then taken into custody.
