Burbank Firefighters Respond to Hazmat Investigation at McCambridge Park

Burbank, Los Angeles County, CA: The Burbank Fire Department responded to a hazardous material investigation call just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 5, at McCambridge Park on the 1500 block of North Glenoaks Boulevard in the city of Burbank.

An ambulance arrived at the scene as well as the Burbank Fire Department’s Hazardous Materials Response Team. A command post was set up at the location.

First arriving units located two patients. One patient was transported in unknown condition by ambulance to a local hospital.

Reports stated chemicals were mixed together causing a reaction.

Firefighters cleared the immediate area of any danger and worked to remove a vehicle from the building alleyway.

The city of Burbank stated on their website that all facilities at the park are closed until further notice.

Burbank Fire Department is handling the investigation.
