Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, CA: Occupants of a vehicle are safe after their car erupted into flames Friday night in the city of Santa Clarita.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies, California Highway Patrol officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a call around 8:43 p.m., Apr. 21, for a vehicle fully engulfed in flames on The Old Road underneath the 14 Freeway.
Three people were inside the vehicle at the time of the fire, but managed to escape uninjured by the time firefighters arrived. However, as a precaution, AMR ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.
CHP is investigating the incident and had both sides of the road blocked off.
