Pico Rivera, Los Angeles County, CA: Investigators are attempting to piece together evidence after a man was found shot to death late Friday night.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies with the Pico Rivera station responded to the area of Stephens Street and Passons Boulevard in the city of Pico Rivera shortly before midnight, Apr. 21, regarding shots fired.

Arriving units located a single male adult unresponsive in the middle of the street. Deputies attempted CPR on the victim until the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics, who eventually declared him deceased at scene.

The area was cordoned off as deputies canvassed the location for potential evidence.

Homicide investigators were summoned to the scene to determine what led to the deadly encounter.

Presently, there is no known suspect information.
