Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, CA: A motorcyclist was found deceased in lanes on a Los Angeles freeway early Saturday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol received a call regarding a motorcyclist down in lanes around 1:11 a.m., Apr. 22, on the eastbound 10 Freeway and the 60 Freeway in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles.
An off-duty SWAT officer was first on scene. The fire department arrived shortly thereafter and reported one motorcycle rider down, deceased in lanes.
CHP arrived and shut down lanes to the eastbound 10 Freeway for an unknown duration.
The cause of the crash may have possibly involved a hit-and-run vehicle or the rider was cut off. Either way, there has been no determination to the exact cause at this time.
CHP is investigating.
