Man Shot in Leg During Armed Robbery of Taco Truck

North Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA: A man in his late thirties was shot in the leg during an armed robbery at a taco truck near the intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood at approximately 11:38 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 29, 2022.

Los Angeles Police Department officers and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the location and found a gunshot wound victim behind the taco truck. LAFD firefighter/paramedics attended to the victim at the scene and then transported him by ambulance to a local hospital.

The suspect, described as a male Hispanic, robbed the taco truck taking approximately $800 from the victim. It is unknown if the victim was the owner or worker at the taco truck.

The suspect fled eastbound Magnolia Boulevard on foot out of view. Information was provided off camera by an LAPD North Hollywood Sergeant at the scene.
