Armed Suspects Crash Into Taco Stand in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Sept. 12 (KNN) — Armed suspects in a pickup truck crashed into a taco stand early Tuesday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division units responded to reports of a pickup truck versus a taco stand collision around 1 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Manchester Avenue in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

Per comments of the call, two males were said to be armed with guns at the scene of the traffic collision, according to Officer Drake Madison with LAPD’s Media Relations Division.

Officers were able to apprehend the two suspects without further incident.

The suspects were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats, reported Madison.

No injuries were reported.
