Multi-Vehicle Traffic Collision Involves Rollover, 1 Trapped

POMONA, CA, Sept. 13 (KNN) — A multi-vehicle traffic collision in Pomona overnight Involved a rollover with one person reportedly trapped.

The Pomona Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department received a 911 call shortly after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday regarding a traffic collision with one person trapped, in the 1400 block of East Kingsley Avenue and St. Paul Street.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located multiple vehicles and a pickup truck upside down on the front yard of an apartment complex.

One driver involved in the crash was detained at the scene by Pomona police officers for possibly DUI. It was not immediately known if the man was arrested. He was assessed by firefighters but refused to be transported to a hospital.

The conditions of the occupants of the other vehicles were not known at the time of this report.

The cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
