Diamond Bar, Los Angeles County, CA: Deputies and California Highway Patrol officers cleared out a parking lot taken over by a large group of street racers late Sunday night in the city of Diamond Bar.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Diamond Bar Station deputies and CHP officers responded to the 900 block of North Diamond Bar Boulevard around 10:00 p.m., May 7, regarding approximately 300 to 400 street racers taking over a parking lot.
An LASD airship responded to assist the ground units in clearing out the lot.
It is unknown at this time if any vehicles were cited or impounded.
CHP and LASD have been working a joint task force attempting to put an end to street takeovers.
